2022 Pride Month Series 🏳️‍🌈

At its heart, Unsent Letters is a love letter to love letters.

As a musical theatre composer, M is accustomed to filling pages with feelings. Speaking those feelings aloud, though, is a different story. Turning to letter writing as a reprieve, M details the odd simplicity of falling in love through explorations of everything from Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s poetry to the odd intimacy of knowing someone’s favorite Gatorade flavor.

The Unsent Letters series will post daily letters by M throughout June, depicting what love looks like in me's and you's. Told through M’s first person perspective, the novel purposefully removes the use of pronouns and allows the reader to interpret the characters as they wish. Feel free to read this as yourself, as the muse, or as an exercise in epistolary writing, but I hope the one thing you take away from this bundle of letters is that love inks universal, regardless of the gender behind or in front of the pen.

Will the letters remain unsent? You'll have to follow along to find out.
